Review: War Dogs

Director Todd Phillips has been at the helm of some pretty epic comedies from Old School to Hangover. War Dogs, blows them both out of the water. You add in a rejuvenated Miles Teller and the simply on fire Jonah Hill you get a film that truly impressed me after a summer of films weighted down by questionable choices.

The supporting cast is fantastic. Bradley Cooper is never one to mail it in and he is stellar in his limited role as a badass ‘I’ll get you anything’ arms dealer.

War Dogs puts out there a very serious topic in a way that is palatable to the public. I mean the comedic moments in this film are never forced and I for one enjoyed it immensely.

By the end of the film I promise you, you will hate and love Jonah Hill as he truly represents a man willing to sacrifice anything or anyone to achieve his goals. I give this film a 4.5 out of 5. You should see War Dogs this Friday it is well worth the price of admission.
